Claire Sulmers selected guests to present in a tropical theme and I must say this was the most difficult part of the weekend was finding a fit.....but I wore a two-piece jogger set from MCKENXIE Venom Collection and everyone seemed to love it (including me). Notes from speakers: Tami spoke about her appreciation of her come up and how at age 40+ she still feels determined to accomplish all her goals. While Ej King broke down the fashion industry and how competitive it can be. He states: "No matter how many stylists are out there, there's a client for everyone. I work with other stylists but I also congratulate them for their hard work too". Michael spoke of how he first was introduced to the fashion world through Project Runway and later designing dresses for a ton of celebrities particularly emphasizing on Beyonce and Jennifer Lopez, two clients which he had dreamed of designing for. Ty left guests stating: "Ou ready to take over the world right? Sometimes you have to take social media breaks because when you are not in a good head space, it will knock you down. Take time for you".

The take home message definitely is: "Strive for greatness and don't take no as an answer. Sometimes, no means improvement to gain a yes and all yes are not guaranteed. In life there are lessons but in fashion we have to learn to be humble. Speak to everyone, build your brand, and stay consistent".
